Faces are born equal in the flesh. To rise, one must consume another.
Every fusion is a sacrifice: burn two, ascend one. The survivor inherits the blood of both and climbs a level.
Only 2000 may live at the base. When two ascend, two slots open — new life enters only as others rise.
At the summit sits a throne. Whoever holds the highest face claims the monthly pool. Every month, the war resets.
